In this blog, we are gonna discuss the previous renting experience. If you are thinking to order our suits,

Project: The dating app for over 50s

This was our last renting project in summer 2019. I had been contacted by a client from the UK. Our
client Liesa and Charley had a vision to connect the newest technology with their dating application for
people over 50 years old. They wanted to show the public that even in higher age you can be fresh and
keep up with the latest trends.

When I heard the concept, I was very surprised and couldn’t imagine it, due to all dancers I worked with
that were much younger than the clients requested dance group, but I was very excited. We spoke
about all details, how long we need to program the show, first rehearsal, do changes in programming
again rehearsal and in the end real shooting with the camera.

I was very happy Liesa and Charley had been so nice and open-minded because we needed to do a lot of
changes in their original choreographies to make it look good with our LED suits on to dance in the dark.
Basically, my main role as a technician is to help local choreographer to adjust the standard dance
choreography to Tron choreography that would be danced in dark and suggest the best suitable LED
effects. Due to the long shooting time with 3 different ladies groups, it was very difficult to manage the
situation for a whole week. I am very glad that our suits are unisex and also size adjustable, so it speeds
up the whole suit change process and you never have a problem with different body types.

We usually started in the morning and finished in the late night but it was a very good atmosphere
because all the ladies around were super nice and kind. They had been so excited about their LED dance
and took it very professionally, so they had never complained about anything. It was really hard to
imagine they have been from 51 to 79 years old. The videos that we shoot were 1 minute long, 30-
seconds- long and 20-seconds-long and it all took us 7 days of hard work and dedication for this project
but I think the final result is totally worth it.
