In this blog, we are going to write about our latest special online event, which was special in more than one way, the main reason being that we did a special Tron Girls show for our client who doesn´t want to be mentioned, programmed a custom laser show where we used two lasers, and also synchronized LED content with all dancers. I think the end result is just amazing and you can check it out in our video.
How did we do it?
First, we really didn´t have any source materials for the LED wall suitable for our show. What we did is we chose parts of choreography that needed to be visible on an LED wall during our performance. We had to pick some special movements that look just amazing and our choreographer Monika came to our office to suit up for the 4K video shoot of source material in the darkroom. After a few hours of filming, we have been happy with the material and could move on to work on an LED show in Led Strips Studio software. When the show was already done with all necessary changes because it was a custom show, we could start to prepare the laser show in our latest laser software Fiesta 5. It means we have installed 2 lasers in our black room and started programming where they should turn on and which effects they should do depending on our choreography and music. This took also a few hours of work. The next step was the rehearsal for dancers before the show. The next day we came to a professional studio that we have rented.

Installation in the Studio
When you got so many elements in a recorded video as LED walls, lasers, UV lights, and LED suits, it really takes you time to install and set up everything. The girls started their preparation and suit up their Tron Girls LED costumes which took about 1,5 hours including UV makeup. Meanwhile, we have prepared LED wall synchronization, lasers set up, fog machine, and UV lights. When everything was in place, we tried to use timecode synchronization because everything was played just from one PC (internal loop). In every software, you needed to set up timecode loops where it should start and one Fiesta laser software launches everything at the same time with one click of a button.

Video, postproduction, and the final product
After many many repetitions, our cameraman said we got excellent footage. We packed everything, came back to the company and our graphic designer started working on postproduction. This took a few days. We have sent our clients a few iterations based on their feedback until they have been 100% happy with the results.

All of this happened really fast, it took 1 day of preparation for 9 people, 1 full day in the studio to shoot it, and 3 days of editing of the video until the client was happy with every detail.
