Today we are going to write about an interesting event that we had in Riyadh / Saudi Arabia. It was a project where we did multiple shows per day five days in a row and we had some extraordinary experiences from that.

So, what we did there?

It was an event that was made for the Saudi ministry of culture but it was booked throw Lebanon artistic agency Arts & Melons. We have been booked for 5 days in a row, 3 shows per day and we have been part of many entertainers as for example:

• Saudi traditional singers & dancers crew,
• Lebanese singer crew,
• acrobatic interaction with 3D mappers from the Czech Republic,
• walking acts from Ukraine and much more.

The event was held in front of Al Masmak Palace Museum on the main square, where was build the main stage but also side stages where different artists have their shows. Everything was very well planned, we had plenty of people for our shows and they really could enjoy many types of artistic shows. We has some issues with the music that we needed to change due to some music license issues and performing in public space, but we did it and everybody was very happy with everything. After the first day of shows, a very huge surprise came for us when the King canceled all public events in Riyadh due to the organization of Saundstorm festival where they had a super famous lineup that was done from the most known electric Dj in the world. You could see there for example David Guetta, Afro Jack, Armin Van Buren, Tiesto, and many many more.

Because our own event was canceled due to the festival, we had an opportunity to go to the festival by ourselves 😊. It was the biggest festival that personally I have attended where was over 200 000 people. The stage was just extraordinarily huge and made just from LED walls, that was just amazing what kind of effects can be made with it. When the Soundstorm festival ended, we continued to perform in our local festival, but in total, we had a few shows canceled that we just couldn’t do due we didn´t have time. Our flight tickets were already bought and we had set up date.

In the end, we were very happy with the event & performances, we have delivered everything that we could and was in our possibilities, also events managers were very satisfied with the show.
