As we went through our show history, we found out, that there are plenty of interesting TV shows, where we performed to spicy up their program. So, we have decided to write this blog to share at least a few of these performances with you.

TV shows are specific kind of shows, where you always have to be really precise because except for the audience, which is present in the TV studio, there are thousands of people who are watching you live from their living rooms, so you can have x times bigger audience compared to ‘corporate’ show. Another thing is, that our technical part (controller and receivers) has to be adjusted for TV studios (it means you need to use the right frequency of WIFI), due there are many signals ‘online’ at once. We love doing LED show for TV, because of its unique and custom experience, magnificence and special atmosphere, and our experience taught us how to deal with many kinds of situations, which can occur when we are live.
Here are some of the TV shows we have already done, with some short story behind it. Sit back and enjoy!
Miss Slovakia 2015
We have participated in Miss Slovakia of 2015, where we were part of the opening ceremony. Our event was live, so I must admit we had a few stressful situations because, at that time, we did not do tons of shows like nowadays, so creating a live show with 10 dancers was a challenge for us. We spent two days with this show, the first day we did rehearsals and the second day was a live show. Our task was to bring the “WoW” factor before ladies appear for the first time that night. We had prepared an intensive, one-minute long show. The rehearsals were fine and everything ran fluently, without any problems. We cannot say this about the second day, during the live event. One of our dancers turn off after a few seconds of his breakdancing what should not has happened but actually, nobody noticed. Even in the video, you cannot see that there was a mistake. Since this early day, we have updated our receiver (we picked a different frequency for WIFI), so this cannot happen anymore.
King of Mask Singer
This was a very interesting shooting. Our Slovak TV – JoJ was preparing a new concept – well-known South Korean show “King of Mask Singer”. It was a big secret and nobody knew about it (expect staff and performers) so it could not get into the air before the official commercials. It was so secret shooting, that we even had to go to another country – Hungary to shoot it there. We signed a confidentiality agreement, that we will not speak about the project until it is on air. After we had programmed the costumes and rehearsed the customized show, went for shooting. Everything went very smoothly and we did not have any issues, just driving back home from Budapest to Bratislava after a full day of shooting was quite exhausting, but it was not such a big deal at all.
Bundesvision
This event was held in Germany, Bremen. It was a very nice experience. German television ProSieben wrote us an email, that they wish us to come for their Tv show Bundesvision, where signers compete in singing German songs. The rule was to have at least 50% of song words signed in the German language. We did not have to prepare anything before the show, because everything was programmed on spot. Their only rule was to use purple color with a specific color code. Because we prepared a show on the spot, we had multiple rehearsals and changes in show programming. Also, we had some issues with the timecode clock device, where time just changed after a few seconds of running. We need to do changes in the timecode device but in the end, we solved it. The best part of the whole event was the stage. It was a very high-end stage that you do not see often. Due to a very short time between singers’ performances (everything was live on TV) stage was divided into two and during one performance technicians were preparing another half of the stage for the next show (after stage just rotated 180 degrees). Decorations for the artist were sometimes very complex and it took time to put them on. Our singer Namika, was very nice and we really enjoyed working with her. You can see it in the video below.
Dance Dance Dance
Our shooting for a Holland TV show called Dance Dance Dance with Marnix, who is a famous celebrity. This event took multiple days of preparation, programming and actual shooting. The reason was the big dance pool – 13 dancers + celebrity that is quite a lot for renting LED suits. Also, the reason why it took so long was perfectionism. The choreographer really wanted a perfect show and we change it dozens of times before the final version. At this event, we had one small issue, what I cannot explain until this day. In one second dancers jumped to the air and suits supposed to turn on/off ultra-fast and without explanation one suit did not turn on/off when it was supposed to. I changed everything what was possible (suit, receiver, controller, software program) but still, just this particular effect did not happen but the rest of the show was working perfectly. I really do not understand why. Meanwhile, putting 14 people into suits in a very short time was not that easy task at all. We have taught the TV staff, how to do it very fast, so each one was connecting one dancer. Because our dance show was just one act of many, and it was live, everything needed to be perfect and on time. I was lucky for dancers (international dance crew coming from many states in Europe) and Marnix, because they were real professionals and they learned everything super fast.
We have done many more Tv shows in past, but not all videos are publishable due to the rules, so we hope these four Tv shows were enough to imagine how this business working and we promise we gonna bring you more soon. ?
