So, how the name Tron Dance was made?
For the very first time, the name Tron appeared in the movie Tron (1982), but the main movie of 21. Century, what made the name famous was Tron Legacy in 2010. For a very time, a costume which makes light was worn in this movie and everybody loved it! In the real world, it means wearing a suit with LED lights. Because the movie was a big success and many people liked the visuals, few of them tried to make this awesome suit themselves.
Who made the first LED dance show in the world?
After the success of Tron Legacy movie, the first real dance group, who made LED costumes was Illuminate. They performed their first well-know show in America Got Talent 2011.
Almost at the same time, another Japanese crew Wrecking Orchestra made their own LED suits and name it Tron Dance.
When the main organizer of Czechoslovakia got Talent & Miss Slovakia saw these videos, he came to our company and told us, that he wants to see the Slovak version of it next year in our Talent show. At that time, almost no one knew about LED suits and there wasn´t any software or hardware available on the market to buy. Because we had experiences in LED field (making LED controllers), we decided to agree. It was not easy at all but we made it!

When we have been thinking, what can be the name for our new product, we have decided to continue in Tron path, which was expanding. We just loved the Tron Legacy movie, it is short and easy to remember for everyone.
What are the similarities between LED costumes and Tron Legacy costumes?
As you can see on the pictures below, Tron costume looks like their, having lights and power is implemented inside. The whole effect is, that suits are glowing in the dark and that’s why everyone admires this kind of show. At the time, when the Tron Legacy movie was made real technology was very simple and not so reliable. It was hard to program and make the quality shows without any failure on the stage.
Since this time, technology in LED suits moved forward from EL wire to LED analog strips, fiber optic cable, and finally LED digital strips. Also, hardware and software are reliable and it is just “more normal” to see LED show nowadays. We are very curious about what the next Tron movie Ares (premiere not announced) will bring and what challenges we can overcome in the future?.
