  • Tron Dance LED suit made of plastic pieces – head, chest, arms, elbows, wrists, thighs, legs and shoes marked

    Tron Dance – LED Suit

    • 16 RGB segments
    • Universal size
    • For 150–210 cm
    More about this suit

Our Tron Dance suits are made of firm plastic pieces that provide the basic frame for the suit. We attach LED lights onto this plastic. It makes the suit reliable and rigid enough to support the LED while being suitable for dancing. The suit has 16 different RGB programmable segments. It’s very light to wear and it doesn’t limit the dancers’ movement.

Since the plastic skeleton is attached onto the person’s clothes, the LED suits are adjustable to every body type. We recommend using it for dancers with a height from 150 cm (4’11 ft) to 210 cm (6’8 ft). We suggest wearing a thin black T-shirt and trousers under the LED suit, so the dancers feel comfortable without having the cables next to their skin.

LED controllers & software

Everything that drives the suits – also sold on its own, so you can build LED suits with your own design.

  • Tron Event Agency suit receiver (12 V) – a black box with an antenna, a power cable, DMX address switch, status lights and an SD card slot

    Tron Dance Receiver

The Tron Dance Receiver receives a wireless signal from the Main Ethernet Controller and sets the colour of each of the 16 segments of the LED suit. It allows you to set the “address” of the dancer from 1 to 10. It contains many safety features and fuses to prevent anything from happening to the dancer.

  • Tron Event Agency pixel receiver – a black box with a display, Ethernet port, Wi-Fi and WDMX buttons, IP/DMX address switches and an SD card slot

    Pixel Receiver

Our most advanced controller, made for the pixel suits. You can program the show live and see every change in real time – or just trigger it in offline mode from the SD card, the best choice for big events, TV studios and sports ceremonies with a lot of Wi-Fi disruption. It is controlled by LED Strip Studio.

  • Main Ethernet Controller for pixel and analogue suits – a black rack box with two antennas, an Ethernet port and DMX connectors

    Main Ethernet Controller

The Main Ethernet Controller is a 1U box which transmits a wireless signal to the LED Suit Receivers. Since it’s connected to the computer over an Ethernet cable, it’s really easy to move with your computer throughout the space, to a max distance of 100 m from the transmitter.

  • LED Strip Studio on a laptop – a live preview of the dancers, banks and a timeline with dance scenes – and the LED Strip Studio logo

Control software – LED Strip Studio

The control software is probably the most important part of the whole system. It allows you to create and play complete Tron Dance shows synchronized to the music. You can create colour-changing sequences for all your dancers separately and synchronize them with the music. For more professional applications, especially for TV shows, you can also use MIDI MTC to synchronize the performance with an external time code.

  • Li-ion battery pack for the LED suit – a black pack with a fused cable and a yellow connector

    Battery

A 12 V battery which powers the whole LED suit and the LED Suit Receiver. It works for about 20 minutes at full white colour (8 hours at standard show intensity) with our standard LED suits.

  • Battery charger – a flat black box with six charging sockets, each with a charge level indicator

    Battery charger

It charges up to 6 batteries at once. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the batteries.

  • Wi-Fi controls – no cables on stage
  • LED Strip Studio software
  • Synchronization to the music
  • SD card playback (offline)
  • Changes in real time
  • Spin on your head – nothing limits the moves

Buying questions

Why should I buy LED suits from you? I have seen cheaper LED suits from Asia.

Our LED suit materials are tested, sustainable and of higher quality. They have a long product life expectancy. The design of the LED suit is also tested and tailored by our company for maximum utility.

We have also developed unique, user-friendly software that helps you get the best outcome for your LED show. In addition, our customer service is an invaluable asset for all our customers. We give you around-the-clock online help and access to tutorials on how to program the show, how to put on and take off the suit, and how to repair and maintain your equipment – everything you need to successfully run the show.

What is the biggest difference between your LED suits and the suits made in Asia?
Mainly the experience from performing the shows. Our priority is performing shows, not only manufacturing LED suits that are not tested by experience, as manufacturers in Asia often do. We really try to make our suits sustainable and to provide tech with the fewest errors and the quickest and easiest maintenance.
How can I control the LED suits?

There are two options for controlling our LED suits:

  1. In real time, through our LED controller and the LSS software. You see every change you make in the LSS software on the LED suits in real time.
  2. Via an SD card (offline). When you insert the SD card into the control unit with the battery running, the LED effects start immediately. We use this option mainly when we walk on the streets or present ourselves at expo events (not recommended for a live show).
Can I program the show without the suits connected?
Yes, you can! We always program the shows without having the LED suits paired to the controller. Once the show is programmed, you can synchronize all the dancers to the LED controller and immediately run a full rehearsal.
Is the LSS control software free?
You can download our software for free and use it for 30 days or 10 runs. After that you will need a license key. If you buy any of our suits, the LSS software is included in the price of the hardware.
How can I learn to program in the LSS software?
Watch our LSS tutorial videos on the blog, where we explain everything step by step.
Is your software difficult to use?
It depends on your previous experience and skills. If you have ever worked with music or video editing software, you will find it quite easy to use. If not, it will take some time to get used to it.
How can I find out if something is not working properly?
If anything is broken or not connected, you will see it immediately: parts that are not working turn pink. Why pink? Because our suits are in RGB colours – red, green and blue. If any of the three colours doesn’t work, the whole part becomes pink. The issue can be a broken cable on the suit or the connection between the computer, controller and receiver.
