Considering buying LED suits? There are many things you should take into account. Here are a few tips you should consider before you decide to buy LED Tron costumes.

Make sure what kind of suit technology you want to use

On the market, there are multiple options of technologies for creating LED shows. You can use el wire, fiber optic cable, analog & pixel/digital technology. Each suit type has its advantages and disadvantages. You can read about the differences in this blog. Before you buy any LED suit, make sure you understand the advantages and disadvantages of each technology. It can save you a lot of money and stress.

Do your research on what kind of software is best for you

Software programming is a very important part of LED suit usage but people often don’t pay any bigger attention to choosing good software. But they rather should. Different software offers different functionality and possibilities for how you can create the effects. Also, it affects how fast you can program the show or how fast you can change your existing show at the very last minute. We have done hundreds of international LED shows and it often happens that the client wants to add something at the last moment or change colors in some part of the show. Also, you can be forced to change programming for multiple reasons (change of dancer or a dancer somehow can’t attend, etc.). The best-known software for LED shows is LED Strip Studio.

Collaborate with a dance school that has skilled dancers and enough of them

If you don’t collaborate with any dance group yet, and you are looking for some, try to find a dance school with dancers that can cover multiple dance styles and perform various tricks. Also, make sure each dancer is 18+ years old in case you need to travel abroad for the shows. Keep in mind you should have additional dancers in case one or more of the main dancers cannot participate. The events can be held anytime and last-minute bookings are normal in this industry, so in case there are more shows simultaneously you need to have the dancers ready.

Who will maintain your suits?

LED Tron suits are made of electronic parts, just as your computer or mobile is. It means that sometimes you need to change LED strips in case they are damaged. This requires soldering skills. With your controller and receivers, you shouldn’t have any problem because it will be solved by your warranty and if not, by sending it back to the company where you bought it, where they can easily repair it.

Marketing

One part of the business is making good LED shows but a completely different one is selling it to the clients. For this, you need to create marketing materials – pictures & videos and have a graphic designer that will edit your videos and pictures for using them online. If you don’t have your own you can hire somebody but definitely, you need to count on this.
